My 30 years on the Internet led me from dot-com startups to an MBA to a SaaS turnaround acquired by Google for $3.1 billion. I spent 15 years as a senior leader of Google product management teams that built billion-dollar advertising businesses and made billions of people safer online before leaving in 2023. I just wrapped up a year building the Applied Social Media Lab at Harvard’s Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society. I’m interested in helping product-centric organizations and leaders solve problems and deliver outcomes.
In my free time, I am a happy husband and father of two sons, with a boundless enthusiasm for grilling, whiskey, and all flavors of nerdery. I serve on the boards of Montclair Local Nonprofit News and New Jersey 11th for Change, and the Trust & Safety Advisory Group of the Institute for Security and Technology. I guest-lecture on product leadership at Columbia and UCLA business schools. And I finally got a dog!
